A "big six" stage of the World tour 2009/10. Stiga play-off.
Russia, Moscow, 20-21 March, 2010. Fitness Center “Republika”
This year the most well-known and prestigious international table hockey tournament in Russia – Moscow Cup – celebrates its 10th anniversary. “Hit the mark!” – is the slogan of the anniversary tournament. The Moscow Cup 2010 organizing committee wishes for a sniper result in each aspect of its project and expects that neither of the leading players of the world nor those people to which table hockey is favorite game and sports could miss this event.
After a range of fruitful negotiations between the Moscow Cup founder and irreplaceable head of its organizing committee, Mikhail Margolis, and Moscow Cup partners, two key questions which allow to keep the main traditions of the tournament were decided: 10th Moscow Cup will be once again played in the new hall and its money prize fund will significantly (2.5 times!) increase and amount to $ 10 000.
This prize money will be shared between eight first players of the Moscow Cup in the following way:
The 10th Moscow Cup venue will be the one of the new and multifunctional sports centers of the well-known Moscow fitness chain Republika (address: Moscow, Akademika Kurchatova Square, 1(78), nearest metro stations: “Oktyabrskoe pole”, “Shchukinskaya”, “Sokol”, web-site www.republika.ru). Besides, Republika, will award its club card to the best player of the tournament from Moscow.
During the tournament each participant of the Moscow Cup 2010 will have a personal locker in a comfortable locker room with shower units and Turkish bath. You can have a delicious and reasonable (about Ruble 200) lunch of three courses with a wide range of starters and deserts in the comfortable café located in the lobby of the fitness center Republika. There is also a parking in the fitness center territory.
In the nearest future the Moscow Cup organizing committee will finish negotiations with some other potential partners of the tournament and publish new information on the web-site www.boardhockey.ru and official Moscow Cup web-site http://moscup.boardhockey.ru (where the registration of the participants will be opened within the next few days).
A few days before the tournament the organizers are planning a press conference, gala presentation of the Moscow Cup 2010 stars and also a traditional table hockey tournament for journalists from the leading Russian mass media, TV-channels and radio stations, some of which will give coverage to Moscow Cup 2010 event.
Now we can say that the winners of the anniversary 10th Moscow Cup, winners and awardees of the previous tournaments and other participants can expect a range of pleasant surprises and memorable presents from the organizers.
All of you are welcome to Moscow Cup 2010! We will be glad to see you!
